The River’s Claw - Armand Sarlangue
“Capturing rivers from the air always offers a unique and satisfying experience, akin to watching moving clouds. It's like nature's own Rorschach test, visible only from above, drawing evocative patterns that resonate with our imagination. As a nature photographer, it's an absolute delight to capture these abstract compositions,” says the photographer Armand Sarlangue. “In this scene, what stood out to me was the river's hand, gracefully connecting with smaller water flows to transport precious sediments from the glaciers. This aerial view was captured with a drone in South Iceland, and it continues to evoke a sense of wonder every time I look at it.”
