Sumba - Greer Smith

“This artwork was inspired by a trip to Sumba Island in Indonesia and the colours of flowers and nature there,” says artist Greer Howland Smith. “I used the process of Batik which I had learned about in Indonesia, which is a technique that uses wax resistant dyes on fabric. I hope that people will feel uplifted from the colours of this artwork.”
