Not a dream - Margaryta Bolgar
“Here I recall the first days of hostilities, explosions in my region, tanks, and numerous soldiers with weapons,” says photographer Margaryta Bolgar. “It was a time when you fell into a stupor when you’re saying goodbye to your life, relatives, home, realising that every minute could be the last. The bombs and rockets were flying overhead like black swarms—able to take your life at any moment.”
Bolgar is currently producing artwork from the Russian Occupied territory of Kherson. Because of their unique struggle, 100% of the donations from this piece will go directly back to the artist via the Ukraine Direct Aid Project. If required, a receipt of the donation can be sent to you after the purchase of the artwork.
